Haworthia
pubescens var. livida M.B. Bayer
Described by Scott McDermott as the quintessential Haworthia, this variety has it all. It is a tiny plant, no more that 1" across and it is stunningly beautiful. It is also a bit of a challenge to to keep it going. I recommend that it be grown in partial shade, as the full sun is very hard on so sensitive a plant.
