Haworthia emelyae var. emelyae V. Poelln

This seedling is from a population of emelyae, formerly called picta, that are considered to be the most attractive form of H. emelyae.  This locality was discovered by Gerhard Marx ( GM 259) in 1992 south-east of Oudtshoorn.  This is a very small plant is shown at about one year of age, and about 1 inch in diameter.
