Haworthia emelyae var. emelyae V. Poelln

This seedling is from a population of emelyae, formerly called picta, that are considered to be the most attractive form of H. emelyae.  This locality was discovered by Gerhard Marx ( GM 259) in 1992 south-east of Oudtshoorn.  This started out in my collection as a very small plant two years ago, please click here to see this plant in April of 2001.  It has grown into the stunning Haworthia you see here.
