Haworthia
rossouwii var rossouwii V.Poelln.

The plant shown has been known since 1973 as H. serrata. In 2001 a nice bit of detective work by Bruce Bayer showed that this plant was actually first described as H. rossouwii by Van Poellnitz. The earlier name takes precidence, so hence forth, this plant has a new name. Shown is a very nice looking plant, filling its 4-inch pot. A huge flower bud is seen emerging just to the left of the center.
