This species has been confused with H. emelyae and has gone by several names: H. willowmorensis, H. correcta, and H. "Uniondaleis". It was named after M. Bruce Bayer to honor the man who's lifes work has been devoted to Haworthia. I find this species easy to grow, though it is slow. Like most all Haworthias, it should be allowed dry completely between watering.
