Haworthia lockwoodii is a delicate plant usually pictured with shriveled leaves.  This photo shows lockwoodii just as it emerging from it annual summer attempt to die.  Here you can see the fresh growth inside the dead outer leaves from a month earlier.  This plant was declared dead on April 21, 2004!
