Haworthia renwardtii is found in the Eastern Cape Province, the variety brevicula is much more localized in the Grahamstown district. This plant is descended from one collected by G.G. Smith at Springtower. It is quite distinctive because of its diminutive size, being about 1/2 the size of most renwardtii forms.
