Haworthia pumila (L.) M.B. Bayer

In the spring the sun becomes very intense in my greenhouse and April is my sunniest month.  By May, the big trees south of the greenhouse have leaves and those provide shade through the summer months.  Because if the intense April sun, I get some fantastic colors this time of year, and this is an example.  A beautiful plant before the color change (click below) the purple has made this Haworthia into something almost surreal.
