Haworthia pumila (L.) M.B. Bayer

This plant was germinated from seed obtained from Lawrence Loucka, seed he collected when he visited South Africa in 1999. This seed gemmated here May of 1999 and the seedlings have thrived.  I now have two of the original group, having given the others to good homes.  This particular plant is now so big it went into my largest pot at 5-1/2 inches when it was transplanted this summer.  It has become a thing of beauty.
