Haworthia pumila (L.) M.B. Bayer

Right out of the box from ISI, this Haworthia was grown from seed under the watchful eye of John Trager at Huntington Botanical Gardens.  The Lemoenpoort population of Haworthia pumila is know for its beautiful purple colorations.  Less well known, Bruce Bayer tells us, is that these plants have a missing chromosome!  Received as Haworthia maxmima.
