It was very dark and we searched a vacant lot on a steep hillside in Groot
Brack River City until it was almost total darkness. We finally found a
couple of different Haworthia pygmaea var pygmaea buried deep into the soil.
Here are two plants, a very tiny one and another even tinier. The name
pygmaea came from this habit of staying very small with few leaves in the
wild.
