This is a very healthy looking Haworthia bruynsii, growing flat and even with the ground.  Here the soil can cover its sticky leaves and bury it when the dry times come, protecting the plant from the harsh sun.  The first rains wash the top and inflate the Haworthia, so its leaves again reach for the sunlight.
