13 May 2004 Uniondale Haworthia bayeri
We finally arrived at Uniondale, the holy grail of Haworthia bayeri. Plants from this location were considered part of Haworthia emelyae, and are still called Haworthia correcta by some. For a while these were even called Hawortia "Uniondalensis" to distinguish them from other bayeri type plants. Regardless of the name, this site is the source of plants with the wonderful random lines on the face of their leaves. These are the king of the Haworthia bayeri!
