09 May 2004 Trip to South Africa Gouritz

A great stop along the Gouritz river gave us an opportunity to meet a very nice farmer and his family then walk his property where we found some wonderful Haworthia magnifica var acuminata.  This property is adjacent to the type locality of this plant, an area that has been destroyed by quarrying of that hillside.
