The view from this hillside was wonderful.  A village can be seen in the background and the African bush all around.  There at our feet was Haworthia magnifica var. magnifica "Asperula".  The "asperula type" is an uncommon, rough leaf variant that occurs here, at the rate of probably 1 per 500 plants.
