Here, a few miles outside of Swellendam we found Haworthia venosa var venosa.  They were nestled among the stones at this lovely location, overlooking the mighty Breede River.  Very common in wild areas was Aloe ferox.  This is a single-stemmed 4 to 6 foot tall aloe, found in many habitats, including this one.
