Bulbine is a close relative of Haworthia.  We saw this tiny plant at several locations along the Breede River and elsewhere on the trip.  Looking like 1 cm diameter marbles, half buried in the soil, these diminutive plants were visible only to an observer who was on his hands and knees, looking under the bush!
